Rev. Jana Green

Rev. Jana Green is the Pastor of Cavanaugh and Wesley United Methodist Church, appointed here  July 2022. Jana grew up in Piedmont, Oklahoma graduating from Piedmont High School. Jana is a graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology - Human Services. Jana served as a children's and youth minister for a few years in Oklahoma City. Then, Jana went to Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C. where she received her Masters of Divinity in 2013. While there, she met her husband, Chase. They married in 2014 and have both served as pastors since 2013. Jana was ordained an Elder in Full Connection in the Arkansas Conference in 2016. Her husband, Chase serves as the Senior Pastor of Goddard UMC. For the past 8 years, they have served in various appointments in Little Rock.  They have a preschooler, Charlie, who keeps them quite busy. Jana loves crafting, reading and enjoys board games. Even though they have not been in Fort Smith for long, they love it here.
